Facebook will purchase a $15 Million USD parcel of land for a 970,000 square foot data center campus in Gallatin, Tennessee.

Facebook is using the shell company Woolhawk LLC as the acquiring entity. What we know:

  • On May 19th the Gallatin City Council approved tax breaks and a development agreement
  • On May 13th Woolhawk LLC acquired the land for $15 million
  • The campus will be located near the end of Gateway Drive, just east of gunmaker Beretta's manufacturing plant.
  • On May 5th the Gallatin City Council voted to provide access to city water and sewer.
  • Facebook may begin construction as soon as this summer, but the Covid pandemic has clouded the construction plans.
