FPT Corporation last week officially inaugurated and put into operation the FPT Fornix HCM02 Data Center at the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, an eight-story Fornix HCM02 which totals 10,000 sqm (110,000 sq ft) and has capacity for 3,600 racks. FPT said this is the first data center in Vietnam designed according to LEED Certification.
“FPT Fornix HCM02 is developed according to the carrier neutral model, allowing customers to proactively choose and connect to many telecommunications service providers,” said Tran Hai Duong, chairman and general director of FPT Telecom International, FPT Corporation shared.
“This model brings flexibility in connection, optimizes costs, enhances redundancy, improves operational efficiency, and especially creates an open digital ecosystem, contributing to ensuring sovereignty and safety of national digital infrastructure.”
