OVHcloud to go public by end of 2021

Jun 16, 2021 | Posted by Eric Bell

OVHcloud has officially confirmed that it would be going public on the Euronext stock exchange. Although OVHcloud hasn’t confirmed the date, but it will happen before the year runs out. Also, it did not say how much it expects to raise through the IPO, but it said the founder’s family, Octave Klaba, will retain the majority of the Company’s stakes.

Besides, OVHcloud first started the process of going public in March. However, a fire at its SBG2 data center, Strasbourg, delayed the plan. Michael Paulin, CEO of OVHcloud, noted that going public would allow the Company to finance new data centers. The Company currently has 30 data centers.

OVH Group has 17 sites in 13 regions.
