TECfusions to Develop Data Center Campus in Puente Alto, Chile

Jun 06, 2025 | Posted by Abdul-Rahman Oladimeji

TECfusions and Baeza Group have secured land for a 100MW data center project in Puente Alto, Chile. The campus is expected to be able to launch with an initial 10MW of capacity, and an additional 10MW available from the local grid. Eventually, TECfusions plans to expand the campus to 100MW.

The facility will be AI-ready, and use a zero-water approach to accomodate water scarcity issues in the country.

“Expanding into Chile marks a significant milestone in our global growth strategy and underscores TECfusions’ commitment to enabling digital transformation wherever innovation is needed most,” said Simon Tusha, founder and CTO of TECfusions.

“Our vision is to deliver sustainable, high-density infrastructure that not only meets the evolving demands of AI and high-performance computing, but also sets a benchmark for environmental responsibility. By entering new markets like Latin America, we’re building the foundation for a new market to plan for the digital future with sustainability goals securely in place from the time of inception.”

There are 50 data centers in Chile.
