Amazon to Invest $13bn in Data Centers in Australia

Amazon is planning to invest AU$20 billion (US$13bn) by 2029 in expanding data center infrastructure in Australia as it looks to develop additional data centers and expand its existing facilities in Sydney and Melbourne.

Cawley Partners Acquires 5,200 Acres outside Dallas for Data Center Park

Cawley Partners has acquired 5,200 acres south of Dallas to potentially develop a large data center park outside Dallas, set to see a mix of uses, including data centers, logistics, manufacturing, and residential.

Firebird, an AI cloud company, and the Armenian government this week announced plans to launch a 100MW AI data center in 2026, to be funded via a $500 million public-private partnership with the Armenian government.

APR Energy has obtained approval from state regulators to develop an 800-acre data center in Pampa, Texas, with an expectation to have an initial capacity of 400MW and will be powered by on-site natural gas turbines.

Aslan Energy to Develop 40MW Renewable Powered Facility

Aslan Energy Capital, a Singaporean renewable developer, has partnered with JIEP, Indonesia’s first industrial estate, to develop a 40MW data center in Jakarta which will be primarily powered by renewable energy and will integrate a 120MW Battery Energy Storage System.
