Nscale Raises $1.1bn from Backers 

AI data center developer Nscale has raised $1.1 billion to help fund its data center build-out in the UK and beyond in a Series B round led by Aker ASA, and participation from the likes of Blue Owl, Dell, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Nokia, Nvidia, among others.

EcoDataCenter Breaks Ground on Borlänge Facility

EcoDataCenter has broken ground on a new data center in Borlänge, Sweden, that could be scaled up to 600MW, marking the beginning of construction on 20 hectares of land formerly occupied by a paper mill.

CoreSite Launches Third New York Data Center

US data center firm CoreSite this week announced the completion of its newest facility, a purpose-built data center which adds more than 138,000 sq ft (12,820 sqm) to CoreSite’s greater New York footprint and around 15MW of capacity.

Poland to Invest $548m in collaboration with IRIS²

The Polish Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy has announced its intent to build a data center, buy six satellites and build a ground station to service them in Poland, at a combined cost of PLN2 billion ($548 million).

Warburg Pincus Break Ground on 80MW Facility in South Korea

Investment firm Warburg Pincus this week announced that it has acquirred a greenfield site in Yongin City to develop a state-of-the-art, 80MW hyperscale data center in Yongin that will deliver reliability, efficiency, and high-density capabilities to meet the evolving needs of global and domestic technology leaders.
